5-foot-11, 195-pound switch-hitting first baseman and catcher, physical build, strength throughout. Keeps it simple in his pre-pitch setup, balanced, short leg lift stride, short hand load, good balance. Takes a power, pull approach at the plate hitting from the left-side, looks to turn on the ball and do damage with hard contact.
6/11/19
60: 8.89 INF Velo: 71 Exit Velo: 72
5-11 1st baseman should project at the plate and in the field. Offensively, his setup was slightly open with a majority of his weight on the inside part of his back leg and a high handset. His hovered into his positive move with a slight hand load. He showed an ability to really control his balance in the box. Short compact swing was able to whip in the zone. Power is projectable at the next level. Defensively, the first baseman moved well around the bag. He showed good quiet hands that consistently worked through the ball.
