5-foot-11, 205-pound third baseman/outfielder has a compact frame w/ present strength and good athleticism. Strong runner posted a 6.87 sixty time, splitting time at the hot corner and the outfield while hitting in the meat of the order for Hardin County. At the plate, simple, slightly open setup with small hand load and toe tap stride. Consistent ball striker (T 93.9 exit velo; Avg: 88 mph), catching it out front with good timing and flashing gap power. At the hot corner, solid hands and short arm stroke w/ good clock. His athleticism and speed makes him a viable outfield option, giving him multiple paths to the field.
Jace Littlefield: 3B/SS, (2022) Hardin County, TN. 5-foot-11, 205-pound solid sturdy frame. Solid during batting practice, Littlefield had an exit velocity of 90 mph. Begins in an athletic stance with a smooth slow load, then uses a short quick stride. Bat speed is above average and exhibits an upward swing plane. He found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Solid recorded an outfield position velocity of 79 mph; had athletic footwork, consistent hands, and a natural exchange. Glovework was used out front. Using a consistent arm action, showed decent accuracy to the bag from an-over-the-top slot. Performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.87.
5’11, 205-pound middle infielder had a strong all-around showing, featuring a 6.92 60, 80 IF velocity and 91 exit velocity to rank amongst the leaders in all 3 categories. Medium, sturdy frame w/ present lower half strength, some upper body projection. Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, very slightly crouched stance w/ quiet hands into stride and short hand load. Generates above average bat speed through the zone. Simple, repeatable swing. At his best when using all fields, can get a little pull heavy to tap into his pull power. Has a presence in the box. Projectable pull power. Defensively, shows solid footwork w/ projectable carry to target arm strength.
