The 6-foot, 150-pound southpaw tossed two quick, scoreless innings with a steady three pitch mix, picking up a pair of strikeouts. Lean, wiry frame with loose quick arm working up to 3/4 slot. Good rhythm in delivery and feel for pitching, drawing a lot of weak contact. Pounds the zone with FB at 80-83 (T84 this summer), spinning it up to 2201 rpm per Trackman and some late arm side action. Mixed CB at 68-72 with 1/7 action and good depth. Rounded out arsenal with fading CH at 73-74, which showed good action and difficult tunnel off FB for RHH. One of many high skilled lefties in the 23’ class with advanced pitchability and improving upside.

The 6-foot, 150-pound southpaw showcased a live, quick arm out of a low 3/4 slot. Lean, athletic, high waisted frame w/ simple repeatable delivery. FB worked 81-84 (Up from 78-81 in March) with some sink and arm side action. Kirby mixed CH at 75-77 with fade and depth throwing to both righties and lefties. Showed breaking ball in the past, so shapes up as solid 3-pitch mix for the young arm.
