Hayden Redd, St. George's Independent (TN), 2027 Positional Profile: C/2B Body: 5-7, 150-pounds. Developing frame with natural athletic movements. Frame will add muscle well as he develops. Hit: RHH. Simple repeatable stance with hands beginning just outside of back shoulder. Large leg kick and forward move to footplant. Generates good seperation between halves as the back side drives into front leg. Drives the ball up the middle with a repeatable bat path that stays through the zone well. Still developing frame with more strength and numbers to come. 61.7 mph bat speed with 16 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 85 max exit velocity, averaged 81.1 mph. 274' max distance. Arm: RH. C-72 mph. INF-75 mph. Quick action with ability to use multiple slots in the IF, no "showcase crowhop". Accurate on the bag throws behind the plate. More arm strength to come through HS. Defense: 2.04-2.23 pop times. Quick catch and release in the IF with good footwork breakdown. Agressive out of crouch with good ground gain, also showed a throw from knees. ATH: 8.00 runner in the 60. 1.83 in the 10 yard split. 28.20 max vertical.
