9/24/17 - Home-1^st: 4.63, Pop Time: 2.06-2.13, Position Velocity:  73, Exit Velocity: 79
6-foot-0, 157-pound, RHH showed some bat speed in batting practice.  Athletic w/ lean strength.  Righty hits from a slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ back shoulder hand location.  Toe tap and load.  Shows potential for pull power.  Can get a little long at times.  Athletic runner for a catcher.  Avg release w/ carry to target.  An interesting 2018 to get eyes on.

6/14/17 - Home-1^st: 4.33, Pop Time: 1.99-2.11, Position Velocity:  C-72, Exit Velocity: 79
6-foot-0, 157-pound, RHH has continued to show improvement in his game for a while now.  Hit from a balanced and athletic stance, stayed loose and used quick hands while firing his lower half to spray line drives around.  Defensively, showed quick hands and feet, getting rid of the ball and recorded a sub-2.0 pop time.

9/4/16 - Home-1^st: 4.4, Pop Time: 2.04-2.15, Position Velocity:  C-74, OF-84, Exit Velocity: 83
6-foot-0, 157-pound, RHH hits from a wider and even stance with some initially high hand positioning, uses an abbreviated leg lick with a subtle push back of his hands to get loaded, lower half works well to get through the zone and allow him some separation,  bat speed is good with a slightly steep swing plane that produces a lot of low line drives and hard ground balls up the middle.  Defensively, showed above average hands and footwork behind the plate, transfer was a little low but used a short and quick arm action through a high ¾ slot to get the ball to 2B accurately with solid strength,  showed athleticism by competing in the outfield after having performed as a shortstop at the Top Prospect Games.

6/14/16 - 60 Time: 7.1, Position Velocity:  IF-82, Exit Velocity: 78
6'0, 150-pound, RHH hits from a balanced and even stance and begins with a very low hand positioning in his set up.  Gets loaded by raising his hands a little bit and using a short stride with his lead foot, lower half works but holds him back at times and causes him to come around the ball and pull ground balls, showed ability to hit line drives up the middle with a slightly steep swing path at times, balance was off at times because of a tendency to lean forward on his finish.  Defensively, showed soft hands and fluid footwork in his approach to the shortstop position, worked through the ball well and used a consistently clean transfer that led to a somewhat long arm action through a high ¾ arm angle to produce some very accurate throws with some good carry across the infield.  Defensive actions and arm strength are certainly strengths of Livesay’s.
