6-foot-2, 195-pound first baseman/outfielder has a developed frame with good lower half strength and some room to add. Wide, crouched stance with small stride generating some bat speed and flashing some natural power. Consistently drove balls (T 91.6 exit velo; T 348 ft; Avg: 277 ft) at a 25% hard hit clip with optimum launch angle at 29.5 degrees. He’s a solid defender at first base with solid hands and ability to dig balls out, but his athleticism (7.25 runner) allows him to play some corner outfield to get his bat into the lineup. He split time this Spring for Webb between 1B/OF, so he has experience and multiple pathways to the field.
7/21/20
6’2, 195-pound 1B showed intriguing athleticism w/ his physical frame, running a 7.25 sixty. Tall, sturdy frame w/ some present lower half strength, upper body projection. Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into stride and occasional short hand load. Generates bat speed through the zone, flashes above average. Learning to tap into his lower half consistently. Hammered a triple to right center field in game. Led the event with a max distance of 348 per Trackman and was 2nd in average distance. Intriguing power upside. Defensively, shows soft hands w/ good footwork and projectable carry to target arm strength.

6-foot-1, 190-pound physical frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 90 mph. Started in a balanced strong stance with a smooth load, then used a short stride before his swing. Shows raw bat speed and a flat swing plane, and he ends his swing with high finish. Line drive approach. In the infield, made throws across the field up to 75 mph; has soft hands and rhythmic footwork. Used a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action.
Positional_Profile: 1B/OF
Body: 6-foot-1, 190-pound physical frame
Hit: RHH. Balanced strong stance, smooth load, short stride stride. Raw bat speed. High finish, flat swing.
6-foot, 185-pound strong frame with the potential to grow into a physical presence. Offensively, setup is crouched and very wide. Gathers weight with a front leg hover while counterbalancing his hands. Get into the zone very efficiently and is quick to the ball. Showed the ability to drive the ball in the gaps. Has the potential to be a big power threat as he continues to develop and settles into his own style. Defensively, moves well around the bag. Solid 3-6 mechanics. Would like to see him get more comfortable fielding with one hand when moving laterally.
