A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
5-foot-7, 150-pound lean frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 80 mph. Started in an open stance with a big load, then used a toe tap before his swing. Displays a level swing plane and level finish. In the infield, recorded position velocities up to 75 mph; displayed soft hands. With a pop time of 1.95-2.03, showed off his quick feet and his ability to control the run game from behind the plate. His best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 70 mph; has firm hands. A low setup. Has an-over-the-top slot.

5-5. 150 pound, small stocky build with quickness. Offensively, setup is relaxed with slightly open stance and low handset. Gathers his weight with a big leg lift and works quickly through the zone. Needs to shorten up his load in order to not feel rushed. Comes up out of his legs at times, causing groundballs. When properly staying in his legs, he produces hard line drives all throughout the field. Defensively, undersized catcher but frames and projects well. Moved very efficiently during throw downs and supported a quick transition and solid glove action. Needs to get more physical at the next level.

5-5 150lber showed the ability to do multiple things with the bat and behind the dish. Offensively, his setup is balanced and neutral with a strong negative move leading into a quick positive move. His bat keeps up to speed quick and was able to show some pull side. Has a tendency to sway back causing him to lose balance into his positive move. Defensively, he showed he can stick multiple pitchers and has a knack for framing. Impressive on throw downs as he showed he could make accurate throws from quick consistent release.

5-5, 150-pounder has shown improvement across the board since we last him in late 2017 and showed a want for receiving. Short, athletic frame w/ some lower half strength, some physical projection. Offensively, hits w/ an open, very slightly crouched stance w/ knee to knee leg kick and short hand load. Some stiffness in the load, learning not to lock out his arm consistently. Flashes ability to get upper and lower half in sync, helps him stay through the baseball. Learning to get lower half through the baseball, occasionally gets caught behind, leaving behind a couple ticks of exit velocity. Projectable gap power as frame matures. Defensively, presents a quality low target w/ glove rest where gloves turns over, can create some issues sticking the baseball. Shows ability to handle velocity. Agile with ability to move side-to-side and keep the ball in front. Intriguing receiver tools. As a thrower, shows solid footwork w/ quick release, short arm stroke and carry to target arm strength.

Short, lean profile w/ some projection. Offensively, hits from an open, upright stance w/ back shoulder hand location. Bat waggle. Stride to slightly open w/ proper load. Bat wrap. Singles hitter w/ feel for line drives. Defensively, shows some feel for receiving w/ soft glove. Developing arm strength w/ solid release.

Pitches from a full wind-up w/ rocker step into the middle of the rubber. Balance point into leg drive and H ¾ release. Upright finish w/ tendency to drift down the rubber, can use his back leg more. Straight FB. CB flashes proper medium downer shape, gets loose at times. CH w/ arm-speed, still learning how to create velo differential. Around the zone, projects to command.
