The Wake Forest commit and No. 1 prospect in Tennessee's 2021 class looked the part on Sunday afternoon. At the dish, LHH athletic, balanced stance with hands at shoulder and good rhythm. Simple load and moderate leg kick, generates electric bat speed with advanced approach and power upside. Went 2-for-4 with three quality at bats in five plate appearances, crushed a no-doubt solo HR to right-center and peppered a single to right field, plating a run. Looked polished at shortstop with good instincts up the middle.
Wake Forest commit took some of the best swings we have seen him take on this day. Generated above average bat speed through the zone, repeated his swing with good timing on his leg kick and showed off his pull power. Zero swing and miss on 7 swings on this day. Projects to really hit w/ power to all fields as frame develops. Known commodity defensively, where features soft hands and arm strength w/ carry through target.
