Collin Bland ('26, Houston) Bland comes in this spring on the heels of being selected to #PBRFG23 as a freshman and has taken a big step forward this spring with his body, play and poise in the box. Bland looks trimmed down and more bouncy in the field in a projectable frame at 6 foot 2 and 230 pounds. The swing stays loaded over his back foot and fires extremely well from his hips. Gets really nice right leg lockout extension that will aid him in hitting long balls as a consistent part of his game. He also gets really nice leverage from his swing pocket position and will get a lot of backspin on baseballs, and really worth following his maturing process where he should be in line for a big summer on the travel ball circuit.
