Uncommitted; 5-foot-9, 175-pound outfielder has made steady improvements over the past year and slowly working himself into a prospect. Proportional frame with some athleticism and present strength. Gamer-mentality, but well-rounded skill set to be a collegiate corner outfielder. Improving arm strength at (81-82 OF Velo) and solid wheels (7.34 sixty), but plays up in the field with above average tracking into the gaps. At the dish, balanced stance with short load and small leg kick. Generates above average bat speed (Max: 71.5 mph per Blast) and efficiently moves through the zone to generate his pop. Flashes of gap to gap power (Max: 323 ft per Trackman), but consistently barrels up the ball (Max: 93.75 mph; Avg: 83.53 mph per Trackman) and can spray it to all fields. Limited in frame and positional, but a high motor senior prospect, who can contribute at the next level.

The 5-foot-9, 170-pound McFarlin put together a solid debut at Underclass Games this past summer to get on the board, but much like Williams, a major tool development lead to a Spring surge. At the Preseason All-State Showcase, McFarlin made a big jump in arm strength (71 to 82 OF Velo) to pair with a quick swing and solid BP round. Not an imposing frame but ability to hit hard line drives to all fields with more power to come. Quick, loose hands and feel for the barrel. The biggest riser of the outfield position for the March rankings.

5 ft 9, 165 lb, well proportioned athletic build. Offensively, displays a very relaxed approach with a mature presence in the box. Displays good load to stride separation while keeping his barrel through the zone for a large amount of time resulting in hard line drives all throughout the field. Defensively, shows great footwork and rhythm from the outfield position. Works through the ball well and has very good carry and accuracy on his throws. He will fill a top of the order spot very well and can fill all outfield positions.
