Stanford Commit dazzled at the 2020 PBR Future Games, given his advanced three pitch mix and the stuff only gotten sharper since early August. All three offerings have made a velo jump, making times on hitters even tougher. Same, repeatable hybrid windup with quick arm working up to 3/4 slot. FB sat 87-89 with laminar express arm side run and impressive spin at (2180-2301 rpm). In comparison to other 2-seam/sinker arms, the elevated spin rate allows Lim's FB action to stay up and carry through the zone with mostly horizontal action. Sharp CB at 73-75 (2065-2281 rpm) with 1/7 action, shaping into the swing and miss offering we saw flashes of this summer. Diving CH at 77-79 (1548-1776 rpm) with great arm side action and deception off FB. An impressive southpaw out of this deep '23 group.

5-foot-10, 170-pound southpaw tossed two quick innings in his start against Missouri. Slim, lean frame with good athleticism and slight projection. True three pitch mix with significant late movement on all three. Attacks the zone, pitching with a plan and intent. Simple, repeatable delivery from hybrid stretch with controlled sequencing. Quick arm working up to 3/4 slot. FB sat 83-86 (2137-2291 rpm per Trackman) with laminar express arm side action, diving away from RHH. Commanded to both sides of the plate, filling up the zone and missing barrels. 1/7 action CB at 67-69 (1815-1968 rpm) with good bite and shape, flashes of being S/M offering. Rounded out with deceptive CH at 72-74 with arm aide action and depth. Feel for the zone and creates a difficult tunnel for hitters off the running FB. An impressive young arm with some polish, who checks a lot of boxes. Committed to Stanford shortly after the event.

The 5-foot-10, 155-pound southpaw pitched with an edge and set the tone for the Storm’s championship run. Slim, lean frame w/ solid projection and quick arm working to 3/4 slot. FB sat 80-83, Top 85 w/ good life while mixing a devastating 12/6 CB and CH w/ arm side action. Showed feel for three pitch mix. Generates a lot of swing and miss and can pick up strikeouts in bunches. Another strong southpaw in the mix for 23’.
