5-foot-9, 145-pound lean frame. During batting practice, Trigg had an exit velocity of 77 mph. Began in a tall balanced stance with a big load, then used a toe tap before his swing. Bat speed is some, shows an inside-out swing plane and high finish. In his round he found some barrels. Opposite field approach. Raw while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 77 mph; has firm hands, a developing exchange and average choppy feet. Using a short arm action, showed some accuracy to the base from a low ¾ slot. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.31. Average on the mound, used a ¾ arm angle and a long arm action while showing quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed tall balance point with even shoulders. Lands square with a recoil finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 77-80 mph; had a flat fastball that showed some action and command around the zone. His 11/5 curveball (58-60) shows gradual action and sporadic control. Threw a straight changeup (65-67) with sporadic control and slight action.
