1/16/17 - Max FB: 77, FB: 75-77, CB: 64-65, CH: 57-59, 6-foot-3, 200-pound, RHP has a wide-shouldered build with a strong presence on the mound, uses a slow and methodical tempo on the mound that only gets quick upon the end of his release, leg lift drifts him into a load that leads to a closed stride and land with his front leg, arm action is long and slings through a nearly sidearm release point, usually finishes over his front leg. Fastball was heavy with some slight run through the zone, curveball showed 11/5 shape, changeup forced his arm to slow down quite a bit.
1/16/17 - 60 Time: 7.58, Position Velocity: IF-75, Exit Velocity: 84 6-foot-3, 200-pound, RHH hits from a balanced and mostly even stance with his hands loosely held just above his back shoulder, uses a pretty generic stride and a quietening of his hands to get loaded, lower half makes an effort to get through but often restricts his hips from getting cleared, gets tall and forward through contact and finish, bat path is short but strong and flat through the zone, at his best when he stays hard up the middle. Defensively, showed average hands and footwork around the bag, length allows him to make some plays, exchange takes a while to get to his longer arm action through a ¾ slot.
