Uncommitted; 6-foot, 160-pound right hander is returning from a 2019 Tommy John surgery and has a slender proportional frame plus a whippy arm. Pitched well at 17U National Championship this summer. Pitches from 3B side with closed landing and arm works to 3/4 slot bearing down on righties. Good rhythm in delivery and smooth arm action that whips through acceleration. Approximately a year out from surgery at that point, FB sat 82-85 with late life and slight arm side action. Good ride through the zone, beating barrels up, then pairing with biting 11/5 CB at 68-71. Rounded mix with CH at 76-78 to neutralize lefties. Still getting feel for return to gameplay, but with another offseason to get stronger, Bevis looks to have a big senior campaign with increasing expectations.
