6/13/17 - Home-1st: 4.93, Position Velocity:  IF-75, Exit Velocity: 80
5-foot-10, 174-pound, RHH hits from a wider and balanced stance that leaves him slightly closed off, uses a short stride but drift just a touch, bat path is pretty flat through contact with a line drive approach.  Defensively, shows above average hands but could be quicker and more active with his footwork, throws were accurate across the infield.

6/13/17 - Max FB: 78, FB: 76-78, CB: 68-69, CH: 66,
5-foot-10, 174-pound, RHP uses a simple delivery that is easy to repeat to give himself some consistency.  Stays under control and balanced through his finish.  Arm action is smooth but some more quickness could help.  Fastball was straight when left up in the zone.  Curveball had 12/6 shape and could be a good change of pace if kept down.

7/26/17 - Home-1st: 4.78, Position Velocity:  73, Exit Velocity: 79
5-foot-10, 165-pound, RHH hits from a balanced and even stance and showed some very subtle pre-pitch movement with his hands to stay loose, uses a short stride and slight little tilt of the barrel to get loaded, lower half fires well early but doesn’t get all the way through and leaves his back hip behind, bat path is very flat through the zone and squares balls up when he gets the barrel on it, Wells had 2 singles and a double in game play.  Defensively, showed average hands and footwork as he struggled to play through the balls that were hit right at him, short exchange and arm action through a high ¾ slot produced decent throws across the infield with average arm strength.

7/27/16 - Max FB: 75, FB: 74-75, CB: 66-67,
5-foot-10, 165-pound, RHP uses a fairly simple delivery that seems easy for him to repeat, consistent pace and rhythm throughout, stays in line and showed a very controlled finish and follow through, relies on some athleticism in parts of his delivery, uses some effort but remains connected, arm action is a little longer and comes through a high ¾ slot.  Fastball was mostly straight but was able to be thrown for strikes, curveball showed pretty good 11/5 action through the zone with some gradual movement on its way to the plate.
