’25 RHP/OF Willis Simair was one of the big winners over our two days in Saskatchewan as he worked his fastball up to 88.9mph. 6-foot, 190-pound right-hander and the fastball sat 86-88mph with carry through the zone. He’s able to spin both the curveball and slider at 2400+ and showed feel for both. Also flashed a firm changeup at 80-83mph. Still some development to come but there’s plenty to like in his stuff right now and the arm strength is evident, also working up to 93mph from the outfield. A name to know in Saskatchewan and should see more of him going forward.
