2022 RHP Daniel SMC Committ Mauro matched Barbee in this one each inning. Tall/athletic build. First few innings he struggled command with the breaker but settled in nicely and used it to compliment his FB (85-87 T88). Was able to produce a lot of soft contact as well as jamming hitters in with the FB. Intriguing arm with more to add.
Physical Profile/Body - 6-2 175lbs Physically advanced frame with long limbs and substantial projection remaining.
Hit - Athletic stance with a wider base and higher hand set. Short knee to knee load. Showed the ability to get onto plane early and finish with a long one hand follow through. Generates plenty of juice through contact and showed good feel for the barrel.
Power - 89 mph exit velo. (tee) 93.3 mph exit velo via Trackman. Line Drive/Fly Ball contact with plenty of juice to carry the gaps.
Running/Speed - 3.98 mph home/first. Runs underway.
Glove - Solid defender, works to get around the ball and maintain a rhythm throughout the fielding process. Confident hands and clean exchanges.
Arm - 83 mph infield arm. H3Q to OTT arm slot with plenty of carry to stay on the left side of the infield.
