Physical Profile/Body - 6-1, 185lbs. Mature frame. Broad shoulders and strong lower half.
Mechanics/Delivery - RHP, Stretch exclusive during his bullpen. Athletic balance point just above the belt. Slight rotation at the top. Full arm action on the back side. Lands slightly closed of his line gaining ground down the mound. Moderate effort in the delivery with fluid tempo.
FB - Max FB 81 mph. FB Range 78-80. Showed control of the pitch in the lower half of the zone. FB showed heavy tendencies when he located down.
CB - CB range 68-70 mph. Showed late downer bite and 11/5 shape. Lost the pitch high several times but flashed plus potential.
CH - CH range 73-74 mph. Pitch showed heavy tendencies and fell off to the arm side at home plate. Good deception.
Summary- Strong frame, hasn’t reached his potential yet. Athletic delivery that he repeated well. Similar arm slots on all of his offerings. FB velo will continue to rise as he logs some more innings in the spring. CB has short downer break at the plate. Potential out pitch as he develops feel and learns to use it to expand the zone with intent. CH was his best offspeed during his bullpen, used in sequence with his FB showed good deception.
