Brian Abbruzzi: 3B/1B, (2026) Mt. Hope High School, RI. 6-foot-2, 185-pound physical strong build. Above average projectable during batting practice, Abbruzzi displayed an exit velocity of 97 mph, Best EV of the day. (73.3 mph bat speed average). (22.5 mph hand speed average). Began in a wide open stance with a smooth compact load, then used a controlled toe tap stride. Bat speed is explosive, exhibits a loose level swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Aggressive up the middle approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 80 mph; has soft hands, a clean exchange, and smooth feet. Laterally, movements were average and fielded the ball out front. Showed a ¾ slot and a loose arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.24.
