Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
6-foot-3, 180-pound, strong, physical, longer athletic frame. The neck is long, shoulders are sloped, with room to fill out, has a chance to be physical at some point. A left-handed hitter, taller stance, slightly open at the shoulders. The hands are loose at the shoulders, lower half is under control, gets back to even on stride foot. The swing is down to level, barrel has life and whip through the zone, approach is more middle, creates back spin to the baseball. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 86 mph and ran a 7.37 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, throws from a higher slot, shorter stride getting on top and throwing down hill. The arm was clocked 69 mph, more in there over time. Chance to hit at the next level, super athletic.

6-foot-2, 165-pound, longer, stronger, athletic frame. The neck is long, shoulders are sloped, should fill out and be extremely physical at some point. A left-handed hitter, feet are even and wide, sits in setup a bit. The hands are held high, back elbow extended out. The lower half is under control, stride is simple and straight. The swing is level through the zone, finishes high with one hand. Looks to shoot the baseball to all fields, more of a line drive approach. Collected a solid single in game play. The tee exit velocity was recorded at 80 mph, with a ton more in there, ran a 4.52 down the line, showed to have an athletic stride. Defensively, from the outfield, had good prep steps, attacked the baseball, used more of a shuffle for the transfer. The arm slot is over the top, arm was clocked at 69 mph. The front side, comes off track, as there is pull and lean to front arm, could make front arm stronger/higher when lead foot strikes. Off the mound, has a slow deliberate delivery, stays over the back side. The stride is slightly across his body, front side loses direction. The arm works out of a high over the top slot, fastball was clocked at 62-66 mph. The breaking ball was clocked at 56-58 mph. Projects out as more of an outfielder down the road.
