6-foot, 184-pound, strong, durable athletic frame. The lower half is very strong, with broad shoulders and a wide back. A right-handed pitcher, the delivery more hybrid, is under control, repeats it, works with minimal effort. The hands have tempo and timing to it, gets loaded up on the backside, slight tilt and lean back in the gather position. The stride is inline, with length, gets squared up to the plate on release with extension out front. The arm action is clean, shorter, working close to his head, fastball was clocked at 75 mph. The fastball has good 2-seam arm side action, located down in the zone. Threw two above average secondary pitches, the changeup has fade, good shape, comes out of the hand looking like a fastball, clocked at 58-60 mph. Threw a small slider, clocked at 58-61 mph, solid spin, late break, needs more fastball hand speed. Worked quickly, attacked, pounded the zone, looked to be very comfortable and confident. Will need to add more arm strength, only a 2022, high ceiling.
