5-foot-11, 170-pound, average athletic frame, shoulders are sloped, has room to fill out. A right-handed hitting catcher, at the plate the stance is even, feet are shoulder width apart, hands are loose at the letters, bat starts in a flat position on shoulder. The lower half is under control, easy controlled stride, with backside drive. The swing is free and easy across his chest, path is level, keeps hands inside the baseball and finishes the swing with one hand. The barrel has some life out front, the tee exit velocity was clocked at  74 mph, with a ton more in there. Defensively, recorded a pop time of 2.0-2.12, throws were on the bag, arm has strength to it for his age, at 73 mph. The setup is wide and balanced when receiving, hands are soft, gets around all pitches and works hard on the low pitch. The foot work is more right foot replacing left foot, and gains ground. The lead leg could be a bit softer on landing, will help get out front more. Good looking young catcher, has arm strength.
