1/26/20

5-foot-8, 155-pound, athletic frame, twitchy at times, wiry strength, with room for added gains. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, can really pick the baseball, shows to have above average actions and feel from the second base side of the bag. The arm action is clean and whippy, clocked at 69 mph, with more in there as he physically gets stronger. The footwork is clean and smooth on the prep steps and gets rid of the baseball extremely quick, no wasted movement. Moved well to both sides, showing soft hands out front on the catch. Offensively, even feet, higher hands with an extended back elbow. The swing is level through the zone, could get more from the backside, will help with bat speed and pop. Rolls the hands late and stays on it, tee exit velocity was clocked at 77 mph and ran a 4.44. Off the mound, has a simple delivery, lower hands, arm action short and clean working out of a natural slot. The fastball showed run to it, clocked at 76 mph, comes out of the hand well. The slider has depth, clocked at 72 mph, showed ability to throw the changeup for strikes. Pounds the zone repeats the delivery, glove side could track a tick longer. Like him at second, chance to be a high defender, might be able to help out of the bullpen.

Tee Exit Velocity: 77 mph

Arm Velocity: 69 mph

Home to 1st: 4.44
