6/20/18

5-foot-9, 155-pound, wiry strong athletic frame. The shoulders are squared off, hands and wrists have good strength to them. A right-handed hitting outfielder top tool are his legs and ability to swing the bat, plays both sides of the field well. At the plate, has a super balanced approach to all fields. The feet are slightly wider than shoulder width, hands are loose at the shoulders, bat starts in a loaded, tilted position. The approach is simple and short to the baseball. The swing path is down to level to up, finishes high with one hand. Looks to drive the ball to both gaps, shows to have some power to the alleys. The tee exit velocity was clocked at was at 83 mph and ran a quick 6.90 sixty yard dash. During game play, collected a couple hard hits, spraying it to all fields. Defensively, arm was clocked at 75 mph, throws were downhill and on target. The arm action is clean on the backside, path is longer, works out of a natural ¾ slot. The catch to transfer is clean and under control, backside could stay stronger and taller, could help getting more out of the arm. Projects for me as a left-fielder, has ability to handle the bat, good follow, chance to hit at the next level.

Sixty-Yard Dash: 6.90

Exit Velocity: 83 mph

Arm Velocity: 75  mph

6/20/17

5-foot-9, 145-pound, small thin, wiry strong athletic frame. The body parts and movements, work well and have loose actions to them, has plenty of room to fill out. A right-handed hitting outfielder, at the plate the stance is slightly open, shoulder width apart, hands are loose at shoulder height and bat is loaded up with some tilt to it. The lower half is under control, backside gets involved, stride is soft and straight. The swing is level and flat across his chest, finishes with one hand at shoulder height. The approach is more middle to pull, batting practice was good, drilling one line drive after another. Is quick on his feet, legs are a tick above average, ran a 4.35 down the line and the tee exit velocity was 79 mph, with a ton more in there. Defensively, is above average from the outfield, routes and angles are performed correct, gets good jumps and reads on the baseball. The arm action is super clean, longer clean path with no hesitation, arm works out of a natural ¾ slot, clocked at 71 mph, has much more in there. The footwork on transfer can get cleaned up, wants to step behind, could step through and gain some more ground. Good looking prospect, strength is a must, good follow, look for the game to take off once he gets stronger.

Home - First: 4.35

Exit Velocity: 79 mph

Arm Velocity: 71 mph

2/18/17

5-foot-9, 145-pound, wiry strong athletic frame. A fast twitch athlete, legs are his best tool, has an athletic bounce and kick to him. A right-handed hitting outfielder, the stance is slightly open with the front foot closed off, hands are loose just above his shoulder, bat starts in a flat position. The stride is under control, steps in slightly, hands are loose and work freely through the zone, barrel has life and whip to it. The swing is down to level, flat through the zone and finishes at shoulder height. The approach is more pull, correcting the stride foot will help in spraying it to the opposite field. The second round of BP was very good, solid contact with line drives. In the outfield, the arm has easy carry to it, arm swing in long and clean, comes out of a ¾ slot. Routes and angles to the ball are correct, fields out front and steps through with back leg, could stay stronger on the back side. The arm was clocked at 73 mph, with a ton more in there. Strength is a must, the athletic ability is extremely high, big follow for me.

Home - First: 4.0

Exit Velocity: 78 mph

Arm Velocity: 73 mph
