OF Nathan Roy was one of the big winners on Friday in Ottawa as he flashed loud tools and power projection while looking the part with a tall, lean frame at 6-foot-3, 180-pounds. First caught our attention with his throws during outfield drills, going 90, 92, 92, 93 on his four attempts. The right-handed hitter answered the bell during batting practice to close out the day, posting the best round and top exit velocity of 97.1mph. Whip in the bat with consistent hard contact (90.8avg EV, 60% Sweet Spot) and power potential as he continues to fill out. Highly intriguing talent out of the Canada Reds program and our staff is eager to see how the tools play in live-game action.
