3/01/20

Showcased a physically advanced 6-foot-1, 200-pound frame with present feel for his body and strength in his actions. The primary right-handed pitcher sat 75-76 mph out of a high ¾ arm-slot with a moderate takeaway. Mixed in a 63-65 mph curveball with 11/5 shape on occasion in the zone and countered with a 68-70 mph changeup thrown with above-average arm-speed and deception. The right-handed hitter begins with a wide, even stance utilizing a short, lift and replace stride to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Displayed some length in the swing with some barrel whip through contact yielding natural pull-side lift during batting practice. Hit into a stiff front side allowing for a solid 87 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 4.75 home-to-first. The primary outfielder featured adequate footwork, arriving to the ball on time with a soft glove hand recording a 78 mph arm-strength from his position out of a repeatable, high ¾ arm-slot.

1/20/19 - 6-foot, 175-pound right-handed hitter starts from a wide, square base with a toe-tap stride. Stays through the zone and behind the baseball well, notching a bat exit velocity of 74 mph with room to improve in his advanced body. Uses adequate footwork in the outfield, coupled with long arm-action to generate throws of 74 mph from his position. Recorded a 4.97 home-to-first time. Right-handed pitcher starts from a 3/4 arm-slot utilizing smooth mechanics. Fastball registered at 69-70 mph. Curveball was featured from 63-65 mph with 10/4 tilt and above-average arm-speed. Changeup showed at 68-70 mph with small arm-side-run and good sell.
