10/09/22
Physical: Wide-shouldered, durable 6-foot, 190lb build. 8.48 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Forward-leaning, even stance, as he starts with a high back elbow. Utilized a short lift-and-replace stride to initiate the swing through a flat path towards a balanced finish. Some tilt over the rear-side after impact, allowing for a pull-side approach during BP. Recorded a T81 mph exit velocity and 75% barrel rate via Trackman. Consistent line-drives off the bat.
Defensively: The outfielder played from behind the ball, using average pace to field over the left side. Gathered the body and crow-hopped before releasing up to 74 mph from his position (H ¾ slot). Developing range at times with shallow angles.
Pitching: RHP. Starts off the middle of the rubber; quick, compact delivery that repeats early. Occasional finish towards the first-base line and strikes on a 75-76 mph FB. Mixed a short, commanded low-60’s CB, adding a 71-72 mph straight-CH to round out the arsenal.
