Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-10, 160lb frame. 7.21 runner in the 60-yard dash..
Offensively: RHH. Slightly open, relaxed setup, as the lower half enters a crouched position. Utilized a leg-hang stride to initiate the swing through a line-drive approach towards loose finish. Repeats fast movements well in the box, able to adjust all over the plate for hard contact. Sprayed MOF barrels up to a 90MPH exit velo. More to come.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder stalked the ball with momentum over his front side. Choppy, calculated footwork that broke off the stem properly. Reached back for an 85MPH throwing arm across the dirt (H ¾).
6/22/21
Physical: 5-foot-8, 135 pounds; Athletic, lean build. 7.72 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet narrow; upright bat position. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 87 MPH via Trackman. Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep step while quick first step. Hands are soft while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle from a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 68 MPH.
