Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
80.0
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.

A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Slider

The maximum speed, in the direction of home plate, that the wrist is traveling. Measured in meters per second (m/s)
Arm Slot
Angle of the forearm relative to the ground between maximum external rotation (MER) and ball release (BR). Which can be a powerful player comparison metric, delivered in degrees.
Knee Extension Velo
The angular velocity of the front knee straightening after foot plant, which provides indicators of velocity potential. Measured in degrees per second.
Deception
The amount of time that the ball is visible to the hitter, after the instant of front foot strike. Measures in milliseconds.
Hip-Shoulder Separation
The difference in angle of between the hips and shoulders, occurring close to the foot plant. Measured in degrees.
Physical: 5-11, 200 pounds; Sturdy, muscular build. Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while wrist hooks behind back; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 84 MPH, while sitting 82-84 MPH; arm side run with sink. SL: 70-75 MPH; 2-tier break. CH: 74 MPH; maintains same plain. Creates easy velocity from the ground up.
6/12/22
Physical: Strong, durable 5-foot-11, 185lb frame with pitchability traits.
Pitching: RHP - Clean pace to the delivery, utilizing natural hip-shoulder separation to create a fast, compact arm at the slot. Lived 81-83, T84 mph with command of the glove-side of the plate and occasional life up. Mixed harder thrown 72-75 mph SL for awkward swings when getting to the left pocket on finish, 40% zone rate. A chance to continue taking strides forward over the next couple years.
3/06/21
Physical: 5’11 180lb RHP/3B ran a 7.72 laser timed 60-yard dash. Average frame has room to improve strength and physicality with time.
Offensively: He starts in a shoulder width stance with a tall posture as he uses some hand rhythm to create a timing mechanism into his swing. He has a toe tap as his hands whip into the slot just before launching into the hitting zone. His barrel works up through the ball and into a long follow through.
Defensively: He uses active feet to get himself into position to receive the ball. He fields with two hands in the center of his body and has to regenerate momentum to begin his throw. His arm works quickly and whippy to release the ball.
Pitching: Working from mainly the stretch he has a simple leg lift and stride down the mound. His hands stay tight to his body as he gets to his balance point. His arm works whippy through the pitch as he falls off the mound slightly to his glove side
10/12/20
Physical: Sturdy and compact 5-foot-10, 168-pound frame with some strength in the movements. 7.72 runner in the 60-yard dash. Offensively: RHH. Balanced / controlled, slightly open stance with quick rhythm in the hands bouncing off of the shoulder. Utilized a toe tap stride to initiate the hands through a short, flat path and into the hitting zone. Featured good direction in the swing albeit the backside didn’t get all the way through during rotation, demonstrated a mostly middle of the field approach with feel for the hands at the plate. Recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 86 mph according to Trackman Baseball / 55% line drive rate during his round which showed off the high level bat to ball skills he possesses. Max hand speed of 22.10 mph per Blast Motion, entering the hitting zone quickly. Defensively: The primary third baseman displayed average footwork with a medium-high center of gravity on the approach, showcased a semi-soft glove hand out in front and showed off a feel for quick transfers from glove to throwing ear. Moved well to his left with ability to make the play on the run, high ¾ arm-slot with accuracy on the release towards the target. INF - 80 mph Pitching: RHP - Started from the middle-left side of the rubber with quality tempo throughout the delivery, medium-leg lift with repeatability, good direction towards the plate, filled it up with a commanded 73-76 mph FB in the zone. Mixed in a quality 64-65 mph SL with feel for spin and 1991 maximum rpms per Trackman Baseball. Countered with a low spin 67-68 mph CH.
