Offensively: LHH. Wide, balanced base with hands out in front; lift replaces stride while hands get back for short load. stays behind the ball with strong effort with a slight uphill path with some extension through the zone; 25 degree bat angle into the zone via Blast Motion. Hanlon is able to produce 14.8 G’s of force with an on-plane efficiency of 64%. Consistent hard contact with lift to the pull side; average Trackman exit velocity of 84.23 MPH; peak exit velo was 90 MPH.
Defensively: Walks into ready position; short, choppy steps. fields the ball in front of glove foot with seamless transfer; Moderate take away to a 3/4 release. OF - 80 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a high leg lift with coil before sitting into back leg and getting glove arm up before finishing over a balanced front side. long, fluid arm action to a high 3/4 slot. Demonstrated strength in the lower half yielding barrel control and extension through the ball with ability to use the backside if necessary. Recorded an 87 mph bat-exit velocity during batting practice and ran a 7.06 60-yard dash. The outfielder featured adequate footwork creating momentum towards the target with regularity. A soft glove hand and fluidity in his transfers allowed for accurate 81 mph arm-strength from his position out of a high ¾ arm-slot.
