Offensively: Aggressive movements and active hands allow his barrel and lower half to be on time. Drives the ball with power and explosiveness that comes from solid use of his lower half.
Defensively: Plays low with a flat back and the ball approaches him. Has some active footwork that keeps his body lined up with the ball. Arm works over the top and from the side as he plays on the run.
Pitching: works slow and under control throughout the windup. Has a short and quick, catchers like, arm swing. Is able to engage his lower half as well as create a whipping motion with his arm as they work in sync.
10/19/19
Physical 5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a leg hang stride and an aggressive lower half to initiate his swing. A concentrated effort to create maximum barrel whip leads to some lower half glide and barrel irregularity, but present gap power cold lead to home run power in the future. Registered a bat exit velocity of 83 mph and ran a 7.34 60-yard dash. Showed above average defensive skills at 3B with active feet and solid carry on throws of 81 mph across the diamond. Also showcased pop times of 2.09-2.18 on throws of 73 mph behind the plate.
