2/14/15 McHugh showcased a square stance and a toe tap stride with a balanced swing. The 6-foot, 185-pound left-handed hitter displayed the ability to drive the baseball to all fields with an 85 mph bat exit velocity. The sophomore showed solid feet and capable glove work with a 77 mph arm across the diamond defensively. McHugh's 7.37 60-yard dash and athleticism allow him to project as a corner outfielder as well. His ability to swing the bat with some power potential to all fields makes McHugh is an interesting follow in this class.
