Barrel wrap creates some length in swing, but flat path through hitting zone allowed him to consistently put the barrel on the baseball during his BP round. Showcased 83-mph arm strength in workout, using accurate, one-hop throws with low trajectory.

6/17/15 Primary position player with taller frame (6-foot-2, 195-pounds) and some present strength. Pitched one inning out of a high three-quarter slot and low elbow with push action. Two-pitch mix included fastball at 72-73 and slow, loopy curveball at 57-58.
