Offensively: LHH. Bent, even stance, as the hands showed controlled rhythm at the shoulder. Utilized a deliberate leg-kick stride to initiate his swing through a flat, on-plane path into the hitting zone. Maintained an advanced feel for the sweet spot (67%) with a gap-to-gap approach that produced line-drives. Worked up to a T87MPH bat-exit velocity via Trackman.
Defensively: The primary first baseman operated on his toes with a hop in the prep-step. A wider, accurate base set behind the ball, allowing for a soft funnel inwards to the chest. Ranged off of the bag on the double play, turning inside with a 79MPH arm-strength across the INF.
