Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-10, 165-pound frame. 7.08 runner in the 60YD.
Offensively: LHH. Balanced, even stance with feel for the hip-hinge. Utilized a simple leg-lift stride to initiate his swing through a steep path into the hitting zone. Was on the barrel for line-drives over the pull-side, up to a 64% sweet-spot and T82MPH EV via Trackman. Chance to develop into a top-of-the-order bat.
Defensively: The OF showed chopped footwork and worked direct, downhill towards the target. Fielded off of his right side and gathered the body for an accurate 79MPH arm-strength out of a short H ¾ slot.
Pitching: LHP. Deep rocker-step from the middle of the rubber; late acceleration from the backside and forward finish. FB sat 73-74MPH with arm-side run and mixed a gradual two-plane CB at 62-63MPH. Tacked on a quality low-60’s SL for Ks + a faded 70-71MPH CH with kill.
