The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Curry wore out the middle of the field during batting practice while registering a bat exit velocity of 79 mph. The two-way prospect showcased the ability to play through the baseball defensively while flashing the top outfield arm strength at the event at 85 mph.
6.12.18 - 6-foot-1, 175-pound righty sat 76-80 from a high 3/4 arm slot over three innings of work. Delivery is balanced and repeatable. Also displayed a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 64-66. Velocity was down from the 81-82 we saw him at during the Preseason All-State Showcase in January. Allowed three hits and a run while striking out one.
