Offensively, 6-foot-1, 195 pound right-handed hitter initiates swing from neutral set up with controlled stride staying neutral. Weight shift away from hands results in solid separation. Hands are quick and work directly to the baseball. Hip turn is intermittently passive with limited backside release. Lutz would benefit from being more aggressive in turning through the ball.
