Offensively: Starts in a simple stance with some hand rhythm to keep himself on time with the pitch. Uses a foot lift/leg kick, engaging his swing just as his front foot strikes the ground. Barrel works smooth and powerful through the zone.
Defensively: Receives from both a new school and old school stance. His catch and transfer is quick but can get a little bit long. He pulls his hands up high above his head before starting his arm swing. Works on top of the ball and displays good arm strength.
