Michael Rodriques: SS/3B, (2023) Sharon, PA. 6-foot-1, 200-pound. During batting practice, Rodriques displayed an exit velocity of 93 mph, Top 3 EV at the showcase. (66.6 mph bat speed average). (20.1 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a quick load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed is quick, exhibits a simple short swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 84 mph; showed soft hands, a clean exchange, and quick feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. Recorded a 60 time of 7.21 at the event. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action while showing quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Threw his fastball 84-85 mph with a max of 86 mph; Has slight running action. He has some action on his changeup (70-71). Had late action on his 10/4 slider (69-70).
