9/25/16 6-foot, 165-pounder who threw lots of strikes out of a three-quarter slot. Repeated a rhythmic delivery, landing slightly crossfire with a clean arm action  Showed an ability to get his fastball at 79-82 in on right-handed hitters. Occasional cast to the breaking ball at 69-70 caused it to vary in shape, but he maintains armspeed on it and it was most effective when it had sweeping slider action. Change-up at 73-74 was a lesser-used third pitch.

Left-handed hitter works from a square, upright stance with a simple swing that was at its best when he was peppering the opposite field. Posted an 80 mph exit velocity and ran a 7.44 60-yard dash with home-to-1B times in the 4.64-4.71 range. Exhibited solid defensive actions with 82 mph arm strength and made a diving catch in right field.
