1/21/18 Offensively, initiates swing from open set up with knee to knee leg kick and stride to neutral. An aggressive weight shift leads to adequate separation. There is length along with uphill path to swing. A 63 mph bay exit velocity was recorded due to difficulty squaring baseball on this day.
Defensively, at 1B feet work well around bag. Hands are solid, transfer is clean and quick.
On the mound, working out of a mid 3/4 arm slot stays in line and repeats well. There is limited hip coil and early weight transfer. FB reached 80 mph with subtle arm side run. CB at 50-59 mph showed 11-5 shape and rolling action. CH sat 62-63 mph and was thrown with slight slowing of the arm while demonstrating subtle arm side fade.
