1/6/18 Lambert flashed advanced athleticism behind the dish demonstrating excellent lateral agility, soft hands in receiving and  framing, and a soft wall with good upper body angle in blocking. Quick hands and feet combined with clean transfer and 75 mph arm strength resulted in pop times of 2.00-2.03. A 4.41 home to first time was recorded.

Athleticism was again evident in Lambert's workout at secondary position of SS. He displayed commitment to working out front and bottom up. Above average range was present with ability to attack and work through the ball noted.

Offensively, swing is initiated from an open set up with stride staying open. Bat is held deep in hands. Hands are pushed back at end of load creating a pronounced arm bar. Limited release of back side, early front knee lock and arm bar result in uphill swing path. A bat exit velocity of 87 ph was recorded.
