Snyder is a 6-foot-4, 190-pound C/OF who attends Lakeview HS. He is a two-time first team ALL-STATE selection as a sophomore and as a junior.  Snyder also is a two-time Region 1 Player of the Year and a two-time first team all-region catcher.  He is a career .446 hitter.

10/18/14 Snyder was the most impressive prospect in attendance at any position. The 6-foot-4, 190-pound backstop flashed his athleticism from the start running a 6.93 60-yard dash and displaying middle of the order offensive abilities with an 89 mph bat exit velocity from the right side of the plate. Snyder starts from a slightly open stance with a high hands load and utilizes a lift and replace stride. He demonstrated the ability to drive the baseball to both gaps and consistently barreled the baseball during batting practice.

Snyder was equally impressive defensively showcasing a 78 mph arm from the crouch with pop times ranging from 1.98-2.03. He is very athletic and has a frame that should continue to develop in the coming years.
