Physical: 6-0, 155 pounds; Proportional, slight build.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using an angled drop step. Minimal leg lift with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 79 MPH, while sitting 77-79 MPH; life through the zone. CB: 62-65 MPH; showed depth. CH: 68-70 MPH; fading action.
Physical: Ultra-projectable, athletic 6-foot, 145lb frame.
Pitching: RHP. Starts from the far left side of the rubber; repeatable delivery that stretches down the slope into extension with fast arm-speed out of a H ¾ slot. Room to throw much harder soon on a 79-82 mph FB with some jump to it (16+ inches IVB). Added a tough two-plane 63-65 mph breaker (2246) at a 50% zone rate, and mixed a hard-fading low-70’s CH with swing/miss type feel.
Physical: Lean, lanky 6-foot, 140lb frame with lots of projection left, getting leveraged consistently on the bump.
Pitching: RHP - Started off the left side of the rubber with a short side-rocker, keeping pace in the delivery and getting down the mound with athleticism into footstrike. Able to create some downward plane at a high H ¾ release as the FB entered from 78-80 mph with good command and occasional arm-side run. Added a solid 60-62 mph CB with big 11/5 action to it, gaining good depth on its descent to the plate. Ability to throw both for strikes, leading with the FB mostly.
Physical: 6’ 140lb RHP/OF ran a 7.75 laser timed 60-yard dash. Thin frame has room to add size and strength over time.
Offensively: Starts with a wide base and uses a slight leg lift as he loads the hands back to create some separation between the upper and lower half. His barrel works long and around the ball, getting to extension through contact.
Defensively: Approaches the ball with an open pocket, receives the ball out in front with 1 hand. He uses a small crow hop/pro step as he reaches his arm swing back and pulls down OTT.
Pitching: He uses a controlled windup as he loads into his back leg. He uses a small hip coil just before he strides to the plate. He shortens his arm swing, keeping it close to his body and coming OTT downhill towards the catcher. Mixes 3 low spin pitches (FB,CV,CH) to the strike zone.
