Physical: The recent Richmond recruit stands a powerful 6-foot-4, 221lbs with connected strength in the actions.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even stance with minor hip coil over the backside as the barrel rests on the shoulder. Utilized a leg lift stride showing useful weight shift into the front side, initiating through a loud, violent flat path into the hitting zone. Ran the bat-speeds into the low 70’s (via Blast Motion) getting connected early with big time rotational scores. Solid blend of freakish power and consistency, posting a T97 mph bat-exit velocity (per Trackman) while recording a near 350 foot batted ball distance during his round. Easy home run juice on the inner half and a 78% hard hit rate which rated highly amongst his peers.
Defensively: The primary third baseman showcased a hop in the “prep step” arriving on time at a wide base with feel for his glove hand out in front. Adequate pace across the diamond holding momentum after fielding and released accurately from a H ¾ slot after a glove tap (T82 mph arm, corner IF projection at third or first).

Physical: 6’3 217 lb CIF ran a 7.84 laser timed 60 yard dash. Large frame with powerful lower half.
Offensively: Starts in a slightly open stance, uses a leg kick to begin timing mechanism. Hands stay quiet through the load. Maintains a tight turn throughout the swing. Hands stay inside the ball nicely. Has impressive size which produces advanced power.
Defensively: Feet move in rhythm with the ball. Catches out in front and uses multiple glove taps as he creates momentum to 1B. Showed off a strong arm across the diamond.
2/15/20
6-foot-1, 205-pound right-handed hitter starts from square stance and initiates his swing with a leg-hang stride. Showcased balance throughout with excellent hip rotation while producing consistent back spin with power to both gaps. Took one of the most polished rounds of batting practice over two days of event. Registered a bat exit velocity of 93 mph and ran a 7.94 60-yard dash. Displayed active feet and played through the baseball routinely defensively with 81 mph arm strength across the diamond from third base. Definite early high follow in the Class of 2023.
