Physical: Lean, leveraged 5-foot-10, 140lb frame with athleticism and projection on the mound boding well for his future.
Pitching: RHP - Started off the middle of the rubber showcasing active pace in the delivery; medium/high leg lift with consistent rhythm through leg lift, getting good separation at footstrike generating a quick arm through a H ¾ slot on the front side. The FB held the zone at a 48% clip, ranging from 79-82 mph with some tilt/sink at the bottom of the zone. Mixed a short, hard 70-72 mph CB with good sell and hard shape across the plate (11/5) with ability to throw in any count.
2/07/21
Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-10, 140-pound frame with room to add strength as he matures. 7.70 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, upright positioning with the hands at the shoulder to start with rhythm present. Utilized a toe tap stride to initiate the hands through a flat, rotational path into the hitting zone. Short path with slight pull through at times generating loft to the LCF gap during batting practice (67% fly ball rate). The bat to ball skills were evident with repeatability handling pitches in any quadrant allowing for some adjustability in the box. Hit into a stiff front side while recording a peak bat-exit velocity of 79 mph per Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The shortstop arrived on time with a low posture at the fielding window allowing the hands to work out in front with accuracy off the middle of his body. Adequate pace from the left side of the diamond and winds up to unleash an 80 mph throwing arm across the infield from a high ¾ slot.
Pitching: RHP - The right hander started from the middle of the rubber with a very up-tempo pace on the bump with occasional hard fall off to the first base side. The arm raced through release as the FB ranged from 79-81 mph with play down in the zone. Mixed a 72 mph SL with feel for side-spin creating up to 7 inches of horizontal movement across the plate as the out pitch.

Physical: Lean / athletic 5-foot-10, 140-pound frame with plenty of room to continue adding strength. 7.78 runner in the 60-yard dash. Offensively: RHH. Tall, balanced stance with the hands starting high next to the ear. Utilized a controlled toe tap stride to initiate a flat barrel path through the hitting zone while staying behind the baseball well with the posture. Lifted after extension with pretty good consistency, liked to get the bat head out towards the front of the plate at impact. Short stroke and had no issues driving the ball backside when pitched there. Hit into a stiff front side while recording a peak bat-exit velocity of 74 mph / 68% line drive rate during his round according to Trackman Baseball. Overall feel in the box and loft in the swing is evident at the moment, and should see measurable gains in the near future as he keeps growing into the body. Defensively: The shortstop featured active footwork arriving on time to the baseball with choppy rhythm at times, but got the job done with good posture at the fielding window (medium-low with the glove out in front). Feel for pace from the left side of the infield, accurate high ¾ arm-slot on throws across the diamond. INF - 72 mph Pitching: RHP - Above average pace in the delivery with a deep side rocker step into a medium high leg lift with slight hip coil, good directional drive towards the plate while driving with authority off of the backside out of the stack, landed with good posture out over the front side unleashing a quick, high ¾ arm-slot through release / fell off to the first base side on occasion. FB ranged from 74-75 T76 mph with an upwards of 1964 spin per Trackman Baseball, mixed in a sharp 66-68 mph breaker with 11/5 action and feel for spin, up to 2176 rpms (true wipeout potential), countered with a 71-72 mph straight CH with good sell / deception.
