Physical: The athletic, lanky 6-foot-1, 168lber projects well with more to come.
Pitching: LHP. Southpaw started from the middle of the rubber, showing off a deep drop step before swinging up to even, above the waist. Utilized late arm-speed and intent down the slope to get on top of hitters, making a funky ¾ slot to land a 79-81 mph FB to both sides (arm-side run). Mixed shorter 68-70 mph CB on a 1/7 tilt, adding quality upper 70’s CH with a chance to tunnel out of the same window.
Physical: Athletic, lanky 6-foot-1, 168lb frame with more to come. 7.64 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Upright, narrow stance with a slight bend in the knees as the barrel played loosely. Utilized a knee-knock stride with the hands operating through a flat path into the hitting zone. Mostly taller posture showing top hand dominance in the swing, recording an 83 mph bat-exit velocity with line-drive tendencies during his round. Liked to get the arms out in space, allowing for extension at the front of the plate.
Defensively: The outfielder got downhill at the point of attack and fielded off of his right side, using a longer H ¾ slot on the takeaway to generate some arm-speed out in front (77 mph best, accurate). Corner projection.
Pitching: LHP - The southpaw begins off of the middle of the rubber with some pace down the mound and a timed-up arm-swing to get through at release. Used the front-side to stiffen out and create angle on a 78-79 mph FB with arm-side run. Mixed a gradual 65-67 mph SL and commanded a 70-73 mph CH at times flashing short dive action.
Physical: Lanky, leveraged and high waisted 6-foot, 160lb frame with ready arm talent and room to add strength.
Pitching: LHP - Started off the middle/right side of the rubber with a pause at a deep side-rocker. Worked up to a high leg lift as the upper half stayed balanced, moving down the mound with some separation through a higher, H ¾ release slot. FB ranged from 79-82 mph showing consistent arm-side run, holding the zone at a 57% clip. Mixed a sweeping 68-70 mph CB up to T13 inches of HM across the plate and added a fading 74-76 mph CH at a 50% zone rate via Trackman. Feel for three pitches and created some heaviness down into the zone on each.
Physical: 6-foot, 150LBS. 8.06SEC 60-Yard Dash.
Offensively: RHH. Sets up with some bend in the knees and feet slightly wider than shoulder width. During the load rocks into the rear leg as the hands work back. Has some wiggle in the barrel throughout and promotes some whip into the zone. Quick up and down stride that does not gain ground towards the pitcher.
Defensively: In the OF maintains a low chest angle and chops the feet with quick short strides as the ball in approaching. The left handed thrower fields the ball off the right side. Works into a long arm circle that profiles well to the mound. Arm has some whippy actions.
Pitching: Primary LHP. Sets up squared to the plate and in the middle of the rubber. Deliberate rocker step as he works to the 3B side of the rubber. Hands being at chest height and away from the body, stay there up through glove break. Long arm circle with a slight stop of momentum at the top of the arm swing. The arm works direct to target as it begins to work forward. Long levers with some deception.
5-foot-11, 125-pound primary pitcher sat 70-73 from a high 3/4 arm slot. Displayed repeatable mechanics with a long takeaway and a deliberate side rocker step to begin. Also commanded a curveball at 61-62 with 11/5 rotation and a changeup at 66-69. Long, lean frame should continue to develop through strength gains and physical maturity.
