Physical: Solid and sturdy 5-foot-11, 190-pound frame with advanced strength in the lower half of the body. 8.31 runner in the 60-yard dash. Offensively: RHH. Narrow, slightly open stance out of an upright setup with the hands starting idle on the shoulder. Utilized a leg hang stride allowing for stretch in the body upon footstrike, high intent launch as the hands played through a slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Above average usage of ground power in the box and repeatedly got his swing off at the front of the plate. Short time to contact with a 21.40 mph maximum hand speed per Blast Motion and had no issues peppering the deep pull-side gap with hard contact. Hit into a stiff front side while recording a peak bat-exit velocity of 91 mph per Trackman Baseball / 13% hard hit rate during his round of BP. Defensively: The primary catcher featured adequate receiving skills out of a low setup with a soft glove hand at the catch point, pop times ranged from 2.21-2.28 with short directional footwork towards the bag, average transfers to the throwing ear, and released through an accurate and short, high ¾ slot. Solid blocking skills on either side of the plate with downward chest angles and recovery ability. C - 73 mph
