6/12/18 - Don't let Marra's 5-foot-9, 150-pound frame fool you. He can pitch and he is a bulldog on the mound. The uncommitted lefty sat 80-84 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with an up tempo delivery and a quick arm. Marra's four seam fastball showed cutting action at 83-84 while his two seamer had arm-side run at 80-81. Marra also effectively mixes his curveball with 1/7 rotation at 67-70 and his changeup at 75-76 that has late sink. Marra yielded two hits over three innings of work while striking out seven. While additional velocity is possible, significant gains are not. With that said, Marra will be able to compete early in the right college program with three effective pitches and the ability to command all three to both sides of the plate.
