Physical: Strong and sturdy 5-foot-10, 195-pound frame with power in the lower half. 8.36 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Narrow, even setup with the hands showing quick, controlled rhythm on the shoulder preload. Utilized a leg hang stride with feel for timing at the plate as the hands worked through a slightly uphill path and into the hitting zone. Launched the hands from below the shoulder with ability to turn the bat head around early and often. Impressive usage of a strong lower half in the swing, showed sink into the legs after footstrike creating above average ground power in the box. Quality hip-shoulder separation as well with strong wrists jolting towards the front of the plate, recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 92 mph with a 50% line drive rate and noticeably standout 40% hard hit rate during batting practice, mostly pull-side approach and projects as a power bat moving forward. Defensively: The primary third baseman flashed a medium center of gravity during defensive evaluations with short and active footwork on the approach, fielded off of the middle-left side of his body with a soft glove hand at the fielding window, solid pace across the diamond while throwing out of an accurate, high ¾ slot. INF - 74 mph
6/15/20
Physical: Stocky and physical 5-foot-10, 195-pound frame with advanced strength in the lower half. 8.00 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Wide, even stance with the hands starting at the chest line in the setup. Utilized an early toe tap stride with a deep load to the shoulder to initiate his swing. Generated plenty of bat speed through a slightly uphill path creating loft to left field and noticeable power during a loud round of batting practice. The lower half rotates violently creating high level hip shoulder separation. Recorded a 94 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The third baseman demonstrated adequate footwork during defensive evaluations using a soft glove hand working out in front and the ability to play the ball both on the forehand and backhand sides. Arrived on time with regularity to the spot and showcased fluidity on the transfers. Displayed the ability to make the play on the run from multiple arm angles. Featured an accurate, over the top arm-slot on throws. 3B - 76 mph

5-foot-10, 195-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a knee-to-knee stride. Displayed balance throughout with a solid feel for the barrel and an ability to create back spin. Registered a bat exit velocity of 88 mph and ran an 8.07 60-yard dash. Will need to continue to work on foot speed and 72 mph arm strength to find a defensive position at the next level. Bat definitely plays right now.

5-foot-9, 170-pound right-handed hitter starts from a narrow, slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a leg-lift stride. Displayed a line drive approach with a flat barrel path through the hitting zone with a bat exit velocity of 78 mph. Displayed the tendency to field the baseball flat footed defensively and cuts off his back side in throws across the diamond. Additional work to play through the baseball along with continued physical maturity will lead to improvement in his current 66 mph arm strength. Did not run the 60-yard dash on this date.
